If you share with the late Elliot Erwitt's belief that 'photography is an art of observation... about finding something interesting in an ordinary place,' and that it 'has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them,' then you won't want to miss this new opportunity to participate in the second volume of a book that will be showcased in its entirety at FotoNostrum in Barcelona in December 2024.
Volume 1 is has been released and it is now being exhibited in FotoNostrum.

As in the first volumen, this transcendent book will be edited by The Worldwide Photography Gala Awards and FotoNostrum Barcelona, and published by FotoNostrum Publishing. Coinciding with the book's release to the media, general public, curators, and art galleries, the entire content - page by page - will be exhibited in jumbo prints at FotoNostrum, in an unmatched show. Published images will become a part of the FotoNostrum collection and sold through its page on Artsy. "The World of Photography" will also be available for purchase on Amazon Books.

Exhibiting more pages is also possible but subject to space availability. When accessing the registration form you will see if the option of more pages is still available.

3 weeks exhibition of the entire spreads of the book printed at 44” x 52” (108 x 132 cm).
Upon closing the exhibition, your pages in fine art prints will be sent in a tube to your home at no additional cost.
Your published photos will be for sale on FotoNostrum’s page on Artsy, after the exhibition is over (FotoNostrum will take a 50% commission on all print sales).
Both the book and the exhibition will be limited in the number of pages and images.
The sooner you register, the better will be to be part of it. First in first served basis will be the rule.
About the book
It will be printed in Valencia, Spain on thick coated paper stock and using the highest quality offset print specifications. Bound to remarkably high standards of quality, and either section sewn from single sheets, it is printed to become an alluring addition to any coffee table or bookshelf. Size: 12” x 12” (30 x 30 cm). The first limited initial edition will be 500 copies. A digital version in a flipbook will also be edited, freely available in this website and distributed to curators and galleries worldwide.
YOU CAN CHOOSE TO PARTICIPATE WITH ONE OR TWO DOUBLE-PAGE SPREADS. YOUR SPACE WILL INCLUDE YOUR BIO IN THIRD PERSON AS IN A REPORTAGE, STATEMENT, AND CONTACT INFORMATION.

About the exhibition
The exhibition will showcase all pages of the book as they are published (including text) but in jumbo size (four times the size of the book), in a layout similar to displaying the entire book open in the walls.
Starting from the cover until the last page, the book will be exhibited in 44” x 52” (108 x 132 cm).
The images at the right show moments of some of the last exhibitions at FotoNostrum to give you an insight of the magnificent space that will host The Worl of Photography Exhibition. Image at right are from the 6th Biennial, Steve McCurry’s Around the World in 80 Images, Helmut Newton’s Private Property, and Richard Avedon Behind the Scenes.
THEMES: Abstract and Digital Manipulation, Portraits and Street Photography, Nude and Figure, Landscapes and Wild Life, Documentary and Daily Life… all themes will be accepted in the book conforming to a worldwide contemporary panorama of current trends of photography.

Since 2009 we have exhibited thousands of artists from all over the world. The images above are snapshots of the last exhibitions organized after the lockdown, including the awardees of the Julia Margaret Cameron and Pollux awards, Steve McCurry, Helmut Newton, and Richard Avedon. Recently, we exhibited ‘Le temps retrouvé’ by Robert Doisneau, and from June to November, the largest retrospective of the Pirelli Calendar 1964-2023 ever made.
